Carawine Gorge is a peaceful, beautiful and remote bush camp site located 160 km from Marble Bar on the Ripon Hill Road, near the Woodie Woodie Mine. It is shared with travellers by the Mills Family on Warrawagine Station which is a million acre or 401,780 hectare property.

Located near Woodie Woodie Mine/ Telfer Mine/ Ripon Hills Rd junction, It is signposted to the right and has a 13km dirt road that is in reasonable condition, which is dependent on what the weather has been like and the road conditions may change. Recommended 4 wd only and off road campers and caravans, though for larger vans you can unhitch, enjoy the drive in and decide for yourself.

Great spot to relax, enjoy your photography and bird life, take out your canoe or kayak, swim or enjoy a spot of fishing on the shady banks of the Oakover River. You may even catch your dinner.
