Along the Hillside road, past the Comet Mine, is Glen Herring Gorge, where red rock walls make a picturesque contrast with the greenery around the waterholes. Glenn Herring Gorge area is nice and green ~ vegetation wise and the gorge waters are clear although quite weedy in the deeper part of the gorge ~ beautiful non the less.
